Stargazing

After closing another uneventful day
Overfilled with every possible shade of gray
I decided to gaze out my bedroom window
And greet the night sky to be rid of my sorrow

The night sky, its beauty and blackness undisturbed
hen suddenly, a shimmering white light emerged
Of a beautiful and radiant twinkling star
For me, the most beautiful I have seen by far

Its beauty is completely unexplainable
Strangely simple yet unattainable
No plain man can grasp it using a mighty roar
For its actual beauty lies in its core

As a precious treasure of every girl and boy
It bestows the world with countless amounts of joy
From playing, singing harmonious tunes and songs
To making our days with just truly humble smiles

Something about its nature’s truly mysterious
It lives among the white clouds and clear heavens
And I, bounded and shackled by Earth's mighty grip,
Yet it grants me its genuine bond of friendship

A life without it, I can't truly imagine
It would be just another life not worth livin'
I would be a small ship, lost in an endless sea
Or a majestic eagle, denied to be free

When overfilled, with a river of joy and glee
I would be the happiest person I could be
When overcame and consumed by great pain and sorrow
I would crouch and weep like there is no tomorrow

Despite the star's overwhelming radiance,beauty
It is engulfed by the bustling urban city
Light and smoke, trap it in a suffocating ball,
Yet its dazzling light always shines through it all

Unfortunately, the star would soon be hidden,
For the blazing sun is about to be risen
I am not worried because nothing will be new
Because I have found a little stardust in you!
